Avatar, Torn Apart

So here's the thing. In other circumstances this could have passed as a terrible mistake... But not now. Whilst there has been other embarrassing moments in Peña Nieto's interaction with our flag, it is nothing compared to what happened yesterday as Tillerson and Kelly were landing on our country.

On it's celebration, our flag in Campo Marte was supposed to wave proudly in the sky, yet it didn't. Just as it was raised, it hit a pole and was torn. Later, Peña Nieto on his speech, "saved" the circumstances by saying that we rise proudly against adversity.

We might as well raised his boxer shorts up there, exposing our vulnerable sovereignty and our endless lack of expertise on diplomacy and matters that in the end, DO matter.
