Surprises are so rare when you grow up. When you either get or provide them, they make you incredibly aware of your own capacity of wonderment. It promotes the idea that there's more to life than what we think of. So, whenever you can fly yourself without (almost) any of your loved ones knowing about it, keep your presence undercover for a few days and get yourself into a big box with a big bow for Christmas, do it. It's really worth it.
