Mexico, Land of Impunity

The National Commission Against Human Rights yesterday issued the following:
"This National Commission would like to point out that the axis of all actions must be the absolute fulfillment of the Law and the unrestricted respect to human dignity. The goal is for this axis to become a model and a way of life, as a country this will allow us to achieve the peace and tranquility we're all searching for."

According to this organism, it has already "emitted 2,537 recommendations directed towards 3,102 authorities from which 361 of them still have pending fulfillment in any of the points directed towards them." [sources]
