Anna Dumitriu, Microbe Mouth

Anna Dumitriu is a British artist whose work fuses craft, sculpture and bioscience to explore our relationship to the microbial world, technology and biomedicine.

Anna Dumitriu worked with scientists Melissa Grant and Rachel Sammons to create unique teeth grown using bacteria. “Microbe Mouth” was a commission for the “Mouthy” season produced by the Science Gallery London and was exhibited in November 2016 at Kings College London.
