Mexico City Emojis

Far from being a sore looser, I think that if I had known Mancera and the CDMX government was going to be part of this event summoned by CDMX Lab, I would have never subscribed to it.

The first prize is a very cute "axolotl" or Mexican salamander, dressed as mariachi, eating tacos, getting drunk, or impersonating Frida Kahlo...

When I think of it, this is how we want to be perceived. As cute, jovial salamanders who sing and love death (30.000 ones and counting in all our states), with cute hearts all around it.

Second and third places are really great examples of Mexican snapshots which to me, make more sense than the first place.

What I sent for review, is not cute or impartial, but also, not based on faux perceptions of what we seem to be and whether I think they represent us or not is completely out of the question. All I'm saying is that I would never, in a million years, imagine, this guy, who's is already on a presidential campaign, declaring a winning prize for the 43 Ayotzinapa missing students, or the silenced/missing journalists, or the GIEI, or a Peña Nieto in trouble or a Zeta cartel emoji.
