Ana Victoria Jiménez Archive
Beside Alaíde Foppa, founder of the feminist magazine called fem, a smiling woman raises her left arm. It's Ana Victoria Jiménez, an editor who became the women's movement photojournalist in Mexico City. Photography was not her original profession but she wasn't taking this role as a hobby, much less the result of a capricious inspiration. [...] Between 1964 and 1990, Ana Victoria Jiménez took 3.000 photographs and collected 500 posters, flyers and banners. [source]
