The Pokes: Not Yours, Not Mine

Holy Enchilada, I didn't know two facts this Californian Vet, called Little Johnny seems to know so much about:
1. That aside our daily chores: feeding the dog, having dinner with friends, it was on our Mexican agenda or the Latinos immigrant's agenda for that matter, to invade, at some point "our lost territory" and 2. That us, Mexicans have high level of Jews running our country!!

What I fully agree with Lil'Johnny is that our country is a mess, this is what happens when a nation chooses a plagiarizing narcissist as a president but is it true, I heard you guys also want to make your country great again?

To give this gentleman the benefit of the doubt around his fears, I checked his statements. I am, by no means a researcher, let me get that out there but for demystification purposes I'm your gal. The first is the National Council of La Raza, which is the largest US run advocacy organization for Latinos. Behind the founding of this project once called NOMAS, lied the Ford Foundation, whose board of trustees today range from the Xerox Company to MIT. Since 1973 and till 1993, the NLCR was completely funded by the federal government. Nowadays 15% of the company is funded by the federal government, and the remaining 85% is funded by individuals, corporations and foundations. Now, if that 15% funding by the federal government doesn't allow "Little Johnny" to sleep at night, maybe their 260 long list of affiliates just might?

OK. Lill'J's second organization mentioned on his first statement, is called The Reconquista Movement. Apparently this note from the "Powerful Conservative Voices" considers the outpouring of illegal immigrants in the US has an alternate purpose: "By their sheer presence and numbers, those in the Reconquista movement believe that a time will come when they can take political control of local communities where Hispanics are the majority. [Hey fellow Mexicans! Does 4pm on Monday 21st sound good? RSVP ASAP on the Facebook Event!] The ultimate dream of the Reconquista movement is that political control can be gained in one or more southwestern states. Reconquista activists plan that the states controlled by Mexican immigrants would secede from the United States and join Mexico, much as the southern states seceded during the American Civil War and formed the Confederacy."

This other gentleman here explains it all very clearly and with, I'm sure reliable and not mistaken sources. But although I didn't find a website for the Reconquista Movement, I did find many videos from both sides: angry (yet really old by now, no need to fret Jhonny) Chicanos for the movement:

And those who are completely against it (they even provided a simple graphic with it):

Now after listening to these two, I can see Trump's point, I mean, Little Johnny's point, who btw, made this comment in a website I refuse to post here because is really offensive not only to Latinos but to all races minus the Nationalist Whites in the US. Still, to be completely honest, I would invest my time on other paranoid ideas Johnny, this one is too flimsy, I think.

Finally, as a cherry placed on the top of a pie, one respectful and reassuring note to our California's Vet. A year ago, according to Forbes, here's the list of the 10 richest men in Mexico:
Carlos Slim Heliu / Religion: Catholic Maronite
Alberto Bailléres / Religion: Roman Catholic descent but practices Judaism
Germán Larrea / Religion: Roman Catholic
Ricardo Salinas Pliego / Religion: Roman Catholic
Eva Gonda de Rivera / Religion: Roman Catholic
María Asunción Aramburuzabala / Religion: Roman Catholic
Familia Servitje / Religion: Roman Catholic
Familia González Moreno / Religion: Roman Catholic
Jerónimo Arango y Familia / Religion: Roman Catholic
and Antonio del Valle / Religion: Roman Catholic

If I got my facts right, because no interview or company's website considers that information relevant, Thank God! One out of ten are Jews. See? Religion nor race is what makes a country terrible or great. People in power with the right frame of mind, helps a lot. Choosing the right cabinet helps even further (hint: not Jindal or Palin). Yet the last step to a great system, whatever we might call it after, is to make sure everyone is represented. Even for those whose categories fall in between. Or everywhere in between... Is that even possible?
