Sick Fat Mouse

"There's a fat mouse in the attic", said Jeremy.

Grandpa John asked hesitantly, "How do you know it's fat?"

Jeremy was building a huge tower with his legos, "because I can hear it, if it were tiny, I wouldn't hear it."

"True" said Grandpa John.

"I also think it's sick", Jeremy was having trouble finding only yellow legos, so he kept moving the hand in the plastic box around until he found several amber pieces.

"How do you know it's sick?" Grandpa John was intrigued.

"Because if it weren't sick, it wouldn't be fat, eating everything it found... Also, it wouldn't be moving around at night, it would be asleep, like a normal, happy mouse..."

The tower was getting bigger and bigger. Grandpa John asked, "What's the mouse sick with?

"It's heart", Jeremy said. Grandpa smiled, "How so?"

"It has no one to play with", said Jeremy, and went on to say "I heard it moving a plastic ball with it's huge, dirty nose last night, must be hard moving around poo all day long, be smelly you know? All it can do at night, is play frantically by itself".

Grandpa John considered the idea for a bit, then said affectionately: "That sounds sad Jemmy."

Lego construction was finished.

"Yeah it is..." said Jeremy looking at his golden tower, but then went on singing and dancing:

"Poor, fat, sick mouse chasin' ball at night,
must be desperate, must be sad!"
