Mexico as PeñaLa la land on the 5th Governance Report
With the slogan: "All that's good counts and it should keep counting..." Peña Nieto depicted what his accomplishments on what seems La la land but certainly not Mexico. The spots for the Governance Report were insulting to say the least. Mexicans know that the only increase of wealth we have seen so far, is not for the common citizen, but to all those close to the presidency (and still inexplicably, including him). What has also risen is debt, disappearances, deaths, insecurity, impunity cases and the number of journalists either spied or silenced. Presidential delusions seem the trend nowadays.
Here's one thing I want to say about 5 years of "Moving Mexico" and Mr. Peña's infrastructure. In Dongu Puerto at Acambay, State of Mexico (really close to the place he was born), their inhabitants have a nice community center that serves lunch to kids at school. It's funny how that building really serves as an empty shell for the Peñanietista government, another number for his percentages and scarce accomplishments. Only detail is, his government didn't provide electricity for it, and although switches and sockets are there, they resemble his Governance Report, because the energy, clearly, as his actions, are always lacking.
