We say 43 You say 911

It's said after forty days and forty nights, Moses came back from the mount and amidst the cloud he declared the Lord had given him two tablets where 10 Commandments were written down:

I am the LORD thy God

Thou shalt have no other gods
No graven images or likenesses
Not take the LORD's name in vain
Remember the sabbath day
Honour thy father and thy mother
Thou shalt not kill
Thou shalt not commit adultery
Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not bear false witness
Thou shalt not covet

Today, after 60 (and counting) days our president came down from the mount, covered with celestial teleprompters and embellished clapping crowds as he declared to the media (and of course, all of us), his 10 Commandments for Security (and a brief mention of the Ayotzinapa case).

Most of that material he presented already existed with one exception, the 911 number, which by now has been the laughingstock of the whole country and subjected to it's own twitter account: #EmergenciasMexicanas911

We are disappointed of course, it's as if he's missing the point all the time. Wasting our time, our money but most of all, breaking even more the already decayed sense of trust we could have on any gubernamental institution, from the police to any kind of authority.

To narrow it down to numbers, we wanted to hear what happened to the 43 students that disappeared from Ayotzinapa? Was there a conflict of interests of your wife's 7 million dollar White House? He gave us 10, well... 1 commandment and a 911 number. Isn't there a clear disconnect?
