Gepe, Bomba Chaya

The world keeps changing. Some barbaric, unthinkable things keep happening to the world. From newspapers, to filmed world wars, to unjust scenes in documentaries, to the immediacy of shootings or bombings through video, events keep unfolding as we watch them.

But I guess what bothers many is the fact bubbles do burst in the western world. While drinking coffee on a high tower, foie gras in a restaurant or in a bus for a rally. We are all vulnerable to extremists of violence and perversion. Making a loud point is the point or why not, even making that carnage your point, your campaign of horror. Fair? Unfair? Were they innocent? Were they not? Were they immigrants? Were they local? Were they 43 in a developed country? Or just 200 in an third world country?

Small, little data is being fed into the system. And that tells us a lot about another type of carnage, the verbal one. Polarised opinions are thrown like shrapnel to each side while the real suffering keeps happening.

Though some people are learning and acting faster, we still need to aid the families of those that have vanished with a trail, or those who are having a rough time understanding reasons beyond no reason. We need to work at an individual level and in the meantime just hope no injustice will ever harm our loved ones. Let's throw some music bombs, shout out some words of love, counterbalance what is lost somehow.
